Cooee Kids runs a variety of nature play programs throughout the school terms for kids ranging 2-9 years.
The programs we offer are Nature Playgroup, Bush Kindy, Beach Kindy, Nature Explorers and Family Connections.
Families can learn, explore and immerse themselves in the surrounds of nature.
Stay & Play (2-4 yrs)
Location: Palm Beach
Introducing Stay & Play mornings – a beautiful way for families to experience the magic of Beach Kindy, together. Perfect for curious first-timers or those looking to gently transition into our drop-off Beach Kindy program, these sessions offer a relaxed introduction to our nature-based rhythm along the stunning Currumbin Creek.
Climb trees, spot local wildlife, splash in the shallows, mix up potions in the mud kitchen – or simply slow down and soak up the beauty of the beach.
Children are free to follow their curiosity, move at their own pace, and build a deep connection with the natural world – all within a supportive community of like-minded families.

Beach Kindy (3-5 yrs) Drop-Off Program
Location: Palm Beach
Our Beach Kindy program is perfect for little ones who love to run barefoot, feel the sand between their toes, and explore the wonders of the beach and bush.
Over 10 adventure-filled weeks, your child will experience the joy of child-led, nature-based play in a setting that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
Each week, your child will be invited to:

Discover the beach and nearby bushland through guided exploration

Spot crabs, fish, birds, and other local wildlife

Create with shells, leaves, and driftwood in nature-based art & crafts

Climb trees, dig in the sand, and get messy in the mud kitchen

Nature Explorers (3–9 yrs) Drop-Off Program
Location: Tallebudgera Valley
Our Nature Explorers program is all about connection—to nature, to new skills, and to each other. Set in the stunning Tallebudgera Valley, where freshwater creeks wind through lush bushland, this program offers children the freedom to explore, imagine, and grow in a truly wild and wonder-filled environment.
Designed for children aged 3–9 years, this drop-off program encourages unstructured play, environmental awareness, and outdoor adventure. Through hands-on, child-led learning, your child will build confidence, resilience, and a deep respect for the natural world.
Across the 10 week term, our explorers will dive into:

Learning to safely use real hand tools, including whittling

Practising knot-tying and lashings

Testing balance and bravery on a slackline

Location: Tallebudgera
Our Bush Kindy program is designed for little adventurers who thrive outdoors and love getting muddy, messy, and creative!
Over 10 fun-filled weeks, children will be immersed in the beauty of the bush, learning through play, exploration, and connection with the natural world.
Each week, your child will be invited to:

Splash, mix, and pretend in the mud kitchen
