FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What happens if it's raining?

Everyone loves jumping in muddy puddles!

Put on your raincoat, pants and gumboots and start jumping.

Cooee Kids goes by the saying, “There is no bad weather, only bad clothing”. So, if it’s raining, dress your child appropriately. Shelters will be put up for a dry retreat.

There is so much fun to be had exploring in the rain. Discovering how our land changes in all seasons.

What if there's storms, flooding or high winds?

If the weather is deemed unsafe, we will contact you via text message a minimum of 2 hours before your session and you will be offered a credit.

Our programs are facilitated by qualified and experienced nature play workers who hold a Blue card and first aid qualifications.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Why do we need to pay for a whole term?

Cooee Kids is about making connections with nature, being part of a community and creating ‘that village’ by supporting each other, learning together and creating lasting friendships which takes time.

Children may take a few weeks to settle in and truly explore their environment and let their imagination run wild.

My child has additional needs (such as ASD, ADHD, ODD) will your sessions be suitable?

Cooee kids is completely child-led. Other than our initial safety briefing and “tool rules”, children require very little direction or instruction. The learning environment that we create is guided by the child’s natural rhythm rather than rigid structure. ALL children thrive in this kind of learning environment.
