TERM PROGRAMS
Cooee Kids runs a variety of nature play programs throughout the school terms for kids ranging 0-12 years.
The programs we offer are Nature Playgroup, Bush Kindy, Beach Kindy, Nature Explorer’s and Family Connections.
Families can learn, explore and immerse themselves in the surrounds of nature.
Nature Playgroup 18 mths – 3 yrs
Our nature playgroup is about connecting families with nature through outdoor self-directed play and exploration of the beautiful Currumbin Creek. Creating a supportive community of like-minded families where nature is our playground!
Each week, your child will have the opportunity to participate in a group activity, or simply immerse themselves in the wonders of nature, whether it’s playing with the mud kitchen, climbing trees, spotting wildlife or exploring the beach.
Our playgroup is led by Carolyn, an experienced Early Childhood Teacher with over 25 years of expertise. She can’t wait to welcome you and share her passion for nature-inspired learning.

Beach Kindy 3-5 yrs (drop off)
Our beach kindy program is ideal for kids who love to spend time immersed in nature at the beach and in the bush.
Kids will be free to explore, be creative, use hand tools, learn through child led play and just have fun!
Each week your child will be invited to take part in group activities such as bush walks and wildlife spotting, read stories, make nature art and craft, use hand tools, climb trees, play with the mud kitchen, and explore the beach.
Kids get ready to get sandy with this 9-10 week fun-filled program.

Nature Explorers 5-9 yrs (drop off)
Our nature explorers program is about connecting children together and to add unstructured play, outdoor skills, sustainability and environmental awareness and support risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through child-led, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.
Located in the beautiful Tallebudgera Valley where freshwater creeks flow which will embrace your child’s imagination and creativity.
During the 9-10 week term we will be exploring;
- How to use hand tools
- How to tie knots and lashings
- How to build cubbies and shelters
- How to walk a slackline
- Flora and fauna identification
- Nature art and craft and so much more!
